Baby number two!

After months of negative tests and tears, it happened! I was so excited and couldn't wait to tell Chuck, but this time I wanted to do it in a completely different way.  I made plans for us to go out that night, but when we got to the restaurant it was packed so somehow we ended up at Rubio's.  After ordering and finding a spot to sit, I reached across the table and said; "So..." "You're pregnant." He knows me too well.

The weeks to follow weren't so bad, but once I hit six weeks the morning sickness hit hard.  All day, everyday for the next month.  Most days were spent on the couch, snacking throughout the day.  Somedays were worse than others, and somedays I was my old self and it was hardly like I was sick at all.  Around nine or ten weeks I felt so much better and didnt have to snack/eat as often.  Now I'm at 13 weeks and I'm about as sick as I was with Cora.  But at least I'm getting better!

Our first appointment is near the end of January and hopefully we'll find out the gender! Can't wait to meet this new little baby!

Baby number two due July 2016.

A Fair to Remember - Cali Trip June 2015

This last weekend Chuck, Cora and I drove to California late Wednesday night.  Cora slept 95% of the way and when she did wake up she was super smiley and happy.  Thursday we went to the San Diego fair!  It's always been one of our favorite things to do!

Friday we went to Oceanside Harbor with the Gilberts!  We dipped our toes in the ocean and had hot dogs and s'mores!

Saturday we hung out with my family.  Maddy and Talon drove to Utah and the next time we see them will be at the wedding!  That night had a delicious pork chop dinner!  And we headed home around seven-thirty.  Next time we come back it'll be for a wedding!

Happy 4th!

For the Fourth of July my mom and sister Marissa came to Arizona!  They came a few days before so we were able to hang out and of course do some shopping!

Cora's new toy uke from grandma!
On the 4th of July we woke up early and tried to head to the Tonto Natural Bridge but the traffic was crazy! So we detoured and headed to the Goldfield Ghost Town instead.  It's was super fun!

After the Ghost Town we headed to Everybody Love Fondue in Gilbert for an early birthday celebration for Cora!  It was super delicious and the owners are the nicest people!

After fondue, we headed home to relax a little bit before the big Linton family/Fraser ward Fourth of July swim party!  Our brother in law rented out the Rhodes Jr High pool and everyone met up there for swimming and food! After the pool we went to Fraser Fields to watch fireworks, Cora loved it!

Sunday after church we went to the Linton's for Sunday dinner and a mini birthday celebration for Cora.  After dinner mom and Marissa headed but home, even after I kept trying to get them to stay.  We miss them and can't wait for the next visit.

We had so much fun and loved seeing the family.  Cora and I were able to stay an extra two weeks and spend time with my sisters, mom, and step dad.  They were moving in two weeks so we were also able to help them pack a little bit.  We already miss them so much but are so excited to see them in California next week!
